The Brisbane Lions Foundation exists to create opportunities — on the field, in our community, and for future generations. We raise funds for major projects and programs that strengthen our people, and our game.
We raise funds to provide the best environments, programs, and support for our men’s, women’s and Academy teams to succeed. And beyond the game, we invest in community development so that every Queenslander can share in what we build.
Community
The Brisbane Lions Foundation is committed to invest in programs that strengthen, connect and inspire our community both on and off the field. We believe in the power of our game to create a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and proud to belong.
Academy
The Youi Brisbane Lions Academy plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of AFL and AFLW footballers. We develop players on and off the field to become role models who inspire our club and community. The Academy gives every young athlete the opportunity to grow, lead and create lasting impact, as well as preparing them not only for elite football, but for the challenges and opportunities of life beyond the field.
Community Hub
In 2026, the Brisbane Lions will take the next bold step in our journey — the creation of the Brisbane Lions Community Hub, adjacent to Brighton Homes Arena at Springfield.
This world-class precinct will feature a second elite training oval and a new Recreation Centre will provide a space of connection for our growing community.
